This video is taken from Myagdi district. Myagdi is a natural district which lies in Dhaulagiri Zone, western Nepal. Flora and fauna are the main attraction of this district. This district is famous for trekking. The famous Poon hill trekking begins from Myagdi. Here, most of the people are from pun cast. They are famous for singing and dancing. They have their culture. In this video also we can see the old culture. This type of Panche baja is old cultural Panche baja.  We can see religious song on Panche baja, its old style. The song also transferred from old generation. These types of songs are very popular in past but still preserved in Myagdi district. There is use of the names of gods on songs. Its bhajan songs but here used in Panche baja. The dance also very funny, Boys and girls are dancing very amazingly but separately. In our modern Panche baja boys and girls dance together but in this video they are dancing separately.  Another interesting thing is Panche baja itself. Because modern Panche baja is short but it’s very long. In this traditional Panche baja musician plays music continuously without rest but dancers changes time by time. These types of musician are very strong and capable, they can play music continuously, dancers get tire but musician do not get.
