Traditional saraye dance at school kurgha

Saraye dance competition at tribhuwan hss gulmi. Saraye nach is a cultural and religious dance which is performs on the occasion of the greatest festival Dashain. Dashain is a greatest festival of Hindu, which is celebrated fifteen days.



The first day of dashain is called ghatasthapana and last day is called Purnima. The seventh, eighth, ninth, and tenth day are very important day of dashain. In seventh day people manage flowers for temples. In eighth and ninth day people worship goddess durga. Durga is a goddess of protection. People sacrifice goat, ship, buffalo, and docks in every kali temple. In tenth day people get tika and blessings from elders.

This tenth day is very important day. Saraye held in different day from eleventh to fifteenth day. In some places people play saray in eleventh day, in some places in twelfth day, in some places in thirteenth day, in some places in fourteenth day and in some places in fifteenth day
